“When your horse follows you without being asked, when he rubs his head on yours, and when you look at him and feel a tingle down your spine…you know you are loved.” John Lyons

John Lyons is one of American’s most respected horsemen and we love his thinking.

For many people with disabilities and/or mental health conditions, they often feel judged or that there is more attention put on what they can’t do rather than what they can.

When the focal point is a horse, that judgement and negative attention magically disappear. The horse sees you for who you are and they want to trust you. It’s a beautiful environment for you to build your confidence, communication skills, self esteem, happiness and fitness.

For the past four years Pegasus & C0 has been providing support services for people with mental health conditions and disabilities, and have had great success helping people work towards their NDIS goals and improve their quality of life.

If you have an interest in horses and a love of nature, horsemanship may be an innovative way to help you reach your goals. We can work with your occupational therapist, support coordinator, plan coordinator, parent or guardian to tailor a program to meet your needs.

Pegasus & Co is proud to be an NDIS Registered Provider.
